Gronk still not 100%, status for Miami in doubt

One of the biggest stories of last week was Rob Gronkowski missing the Patriots flight to Arizona for their opener against the Cardinals. While he's returned to practice, it looks like he might not be able to play in Week 2 as well.

The New England tight end returned to practice Tuesday, but was still limited in his activities--putting his status for the Patriots' upcoming game against the Dolphins in doubt. Considering he wasn't even able to make the team flight last week, the injury to his hamstring is definitely serious. Today is the 30-day mark for the injury, and he still hasn't made it back to practicing in full. While he's a workout warrior and will take every effort to get back on the field, Gronk himself has said that he won't play unless he's 100% ready--and he's clearly not at 100% right now.

While it might be a blow to Pats fans, his declaration is for good reason. Gronk has a lengthy injury history, and rushing back from another leg injury could only hurt him in the long run. While he might not be available against Miami this week, hopefully he can get back on the field soon and help the Patriots in their quest for a fifth Super Bowl title.
