Nate Ebner ruled out for tomorrow's game vs Saints with shoulder injury

The Patriots announced that safety Nate Ebner has been downgraded to out for tomorrow's game in New Orleans with a shoulder injury. Via the team's official Twitter account:

Ebner has played mostly on special teams, where he led the Patriots in tackles last year. The former United States olympian is playing on the second year of a 2-year, $2.4 million deal. Without him and fellow ace Matthew Slater, who was previously ruled out, the Patriots will have to rely on veterans Brandon Bolden and Brandon King, along with new pickups Marquis Flowers and Johnson Bademosi, to handle special-teams duties against the Saints.

As of now, there's no indication as to how long Ebner will be out. Considering he was ruled out so close to game time, he's a good bet to play next week if his recovery continues as planned.
