Coming off a devastating loss to the Panthers, the Patriots desperately need a win tomorrow night against the Buccaneers. Unfortunately, they'll have to do it without Rex Burkhead once again. The running back was ruled out for the game with a knee injury on today's injury report, released by ESPN's Adam Schefter on Twitter:

Along with Burkhead, cornerback Eric Rowe was scratched for the game as well with a groin injury. It also appears Nate Solder will not play thanks to a non-injury designation.

The Pats also declared seven key contributors questionable, including tight end Rob Gronkowski, right tackle Marcus Cannon, linebacker Dont'a Hightower, cornerback Stephon Gilmore, and linebacker Elandon Roberts. Special-teams ace Matthew Slater, also ruled questionable, may make his 2017 debut after missing the first quarter of the year with a hamstring ailment.
