With the Patriots' 41-16 win over the Denver Broncos Sunday night, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick earned his 270th career win as a head coach. That mark ties him with former Cowboys head coach Tom Landry as the third-winningest head coach of all time.
Now, Belichick is behind only George Halas (324) and Don Shula (347) on the career wins list. It's unclear how long the 65-year-old will continue to coach, but with his track record of success and Tom Brady running his offense, it might take him only six or seven more seasons (assuming a few playoff wins) to approach Shula's record.
In the short term, Belichick will be able to break the tie with Landry next week, when the Patriots take on the Raiders in Mexico City.
