Chris Hogan misses practice with arm in sling, probably won't play Sunday

The Patriots are coming off their bye week in Week 9, but not all the team's players are ready to get back to action. Wideout Chris Hogan has missed practice on Tuesday and Wednesday now with a right shoulder injury, and his status for New England's Sunday Night Football game in Denver this week is in serious jeopardy.
Hogan initially suffered the injury against the LA Chargers in Week 8. He wore a sling over the arm over the bye, and was spotted with the sling again on Wednesday by the Boston Herald's Jeff Howe.
The receiver hasn't been officially ruled out for Week 10, but at this point the odds of him playing any significant role in Denver are slim to none. For now, Phillip Dorsett will see more action without Hogan in the lineup while Brandin Cooks and Danny Amendola would most likely compensate for the lost targets. Unless Hogan is able to get out of the sling quickly, that arrangement might have to become permanent for the next few weeks.
