Danny Amendola had another monster game in the Patriots' AFC Championship win, catching seven passes for 84 yards and a pair of crucial late-game touchdowns. The performance continued Amendola's streak of spectacular playoff appearances--most recently, he posted 11 catches for 112 yards against the Titans in the divisional round. After the win, head coach Bill Belichick had some high praise for one of the clutches members of his team.

At his press conference after the game, Belichick said (per ESPN) that "Danny's such a good football player, when you look up 'good football player' in the dictionary, his picture is right there beside it." It's among the most unique compliments BB has paid to a Patriot this year, and with good reason. Amendola scored both of his touchdowns in the fourth quarter and provided New England with a much-needed spark to get past the Jaguars. Without 'Dola's rapport with Tom Brady and insanely clutch genes, there's practically no way the team could have pulled off the comeback.

For his part, Brady said that Amendola's second touchdown, a diving toe-tap grab in the back of the end zone, was "an incredible play." Tight end Rob Gronkowski officially branded his teammate "Danny Playoff Amendola." As for Amendola himself?

"No fear. Just get out there and get it done."
