Pats staffer spotted at press conference with Tom Brady MVP acceptance speech
Pats QB Tom Brady is the widespread favorite to win league MVP ahead of Saturday night's NFL Honors ceremony. Now, a Brady win is almost confirmed. A Patriots staffer was spotted at a press conference this week carrying a draft of a document titled "Brady Acceptance Speech" under his arm. The paper, while not all visible, clearly referenced the MVP award and Brady's teammates.
If this is actually Brady's MVP acceptance speech, he'd have to tape it before the Honors show and send it in--he won't attend as he prepares with the Pats for Sunday's game. Additionally, some Pats fans might not be too happy with a Brady win. No MVP winner has won a Super Bowl since 2000. We'll see if Brady can break that curse.
