The Patriots are looking to add some more pieces at defensive end and running back in 2018 free agency. Most recently, they've been linked to Falcons pass-rusher Adrian Clayborn and Bengals runner Jeremy Hill.
ESPN's Josina Anderson reported that Clayborn was visiting Foxborough on Friday. A first-round pick and seven-year veteran, Clayborn put up 9.5 sacks last season for Atlanta (including a whopping six against the Cowboys in Week 9). He would be a decently-priced acquisition with the potential to play opposite Trey Flowers for the Pats.
I’m told free agent DL Adrian Clayborn “is flying to Boston tonight” for a scheduled visit with the #Patriots, per source.— Josina Anderson (@JosinaAnderson) March 15, 2018
Meanwhile, ESPN's Field Yates also reported that Bengals RB Jeremy Hill would be visiting New England on Friday as well. Though he rushed for 20 touchdowns in 2014 and 2015, but his ankle problems and ball-security issues hurt him with the Cincy coaching staff. After drafting Joe Mixon in last year's second round, Hill is the odd man out--though he could play a LeGarrette Blount role if he were to sign with the Patriots.

While they may not be the biggest names, Clayborn and Hill are both mid-tier veteran free agents who would be able to contribute at key positions.
