Two former FBS head coaches represent Patriots at Combine

The Patriots' delegation to the NFL Combine this past week included some unusual faces. Per NESN's Doug Kyed and Arizona Sports' Mike Jurecki, respectively, former FBS head coaches Bret Bielma and Todd Graham were seen representing New England in Indianapolis.

Bielema and Graham were both fired this offseason, the former from Arkansas and the latter from Arizona State. It's interesting to see both of them working for one NFL team so quickly after their exits, but from a Patriots standpoint the moves make some sense. After an offseason with a lot of turnover on the coaching staff, the idea of bringing in some heavily experienced coaches to consult and provide some semblance of stability has merits. We'll just have to wait and see whether or not these sightings actually turn into paying jobs for one or both of the candidates.
