Is Gronkowski overexposed?
A busy summer for Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will continue with an appearance as a guest host of Access Hollywood Live, according to Michelle Beadle, a current host of the show. Beadle referenced Gronkowski’s appearance on Twitter.
So so far, Gronk has:
Posed with a pornstar
Danced with his shirt off after the Super Bowl
Been on a TV dating show
Posed nude for ESPN magazine
Won a Home run Derby
Guest hosted Access Hollywood
Anything else? Oh yeah and also signed a gigantic contract extension with the Patriots and is nursing an ankle injury.
Has Rob Gronkowski become the new Ochocino? Now, you could say that they are 75 catches and 16 touchdowns apart but as far as off the field activities, Gronk has been on the news at a vintage Ochocino level.
The worry is, will all of this off the field stuff distract Gronkowski off the field? After that huge contract, we better hope not.
Personally, I think Gronkowski has become a loveable character in the eyes of the media and that's why he's been invited on these dating shows, home run derbys, etc. etc. He doesn't seem to be seeking out attention in the way that Ochocinco has been known to do.
