Tom Brady has a lot of trust in Aaron Hernandez

I was just thinking about a WEEI interview with Tom Brady back before the 2010 season when the Patriots had just drafted Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. Both rookies were creating a lot of excitement in training camp and pre-season, but Brady shut that down. He said that they had a lot to learn before they could really become reliable players in the offense.

Well, they've showed how reliable they can both be in the past two seasons. Now apparently Brady considers Hernandez to be one of the most dangerous and trustworthy weapons he has.

"I think he’s really gained a lot of body control, and he’s really become a dependable player in our offense. You get those 1 on 1 matchups, and he got a lot of those last season and made a lot of yards after the catch as well, because he’s tough to guard 1-on-1. He’s really become someone that our offense can really trust."
