Alfonzo Dennard, Nick MCDonald out for today
The Patriots on Saturday night downgraded offensive lineman Nick McDonald (shoulder) and cornerback Alfonzo Dennard (hamstring) to out for Sunday's regular-season opener against Tennessee.
Dennard was a late addition to the Patriots injury report, only appearing on Friday. It's a shame for this player with a lot of potential, but he just can't seem to stay healthy as he missed almost all of training camp with a hamstring injury. That can be a big detriment for someone in their rookie year, as they will be even further behind their teammates and get less looks from the coaches.
Either way its not likely either of these two would have seen significant playing time in this game anyway.
