Things continue to not look good for Shane Vereen. He returned to full pads practice this week, so that leaves you thinking that he has recovered from his injury. At this point you have to wonder if undrafted rookie free agent, Brandon Bolden, has passed Vereen on the depth chart. He hasn't missed any time due to injury and has looked good in the playing time he's gotten. Vereen was a regular on the inactive list last year, and if he continues to find his way this year he's likely gone next year.
Alfonzo Dennard is treading into similar territory. He missed most of training camp with a hamstring injury. Two inactives in a row pretty much confirms that he's last on the depth chart. He might no be active unless there's an injury in the secondary.
Dan Connolly sustained a head injury in last week's game. Concussion tests reportedly came back negative and he returned to practice this week. Connolly is a big boost on a very thin offensive line.
No one missed practice on Thursday and Friday so you would assume these inactives are not purely health related.
