Brandon Spikes gets all homophobic on twitter


Well, it's obvious he's intending this as a joke, but it's also obvious it's a joke not many people will find funny.

Dear athletes: Word to the wise. If you have something to say that even treads a line, don't tweet it!

Brandon Spikes got some backlash on twitter but I'm not sure this deserves any more than that.

Honestly, his tweet could've been a lot worse. It wasn't hateful, just distasteful. And maybe a little ignorant if you want to go that far, but nothing worse than that.

Trust me, there are a lot more offensive things said on twitter.

Still, as I said above, if you're a slightly famous person keep it to yourself, c'mon. It's common sense.
