Pats 17, Seahawks 10 at the half

The Patriots lead the Seahawks 17-10 at halftime in Seattle. But New England left points on the board in the first half.

An intentional grounding by Tom Brady with 1 second left in the half led to a 10-second run off, which ended the quarter. The Pats could've extended the lead to 20-10 with a Stephen Gostkowski field goal attempt.

Aaron Hernandez and Wes Welker each have touchdown receptions from Brady. The Patriots' secondary has looked inept per usual at times during the first half. Kyle Arrington has had trouble sticking with his man. It was Arrington who couldn't prevent Seattle's only touchdown thus far, a 24-yard pass from Russell to Doug Baldwin.

However, Chandler Jones forced a fumble, which Rob Ninkovich recovered, and the Pats didn't give up points in the second quarter.

The second half should be just as interesting.
