Ras-I Dowling is placed on season ending IR



Well, that was short lived.

So some Patriots fans might be like, whatever it's just Ras-I Dowling. The thing is, Ras-I Dowling was basically a first round pick, taken with the 1st overall pick in the second round. Belichick passed on guys like Brook Reeds to take Dowling.

That is a huge swing and miss.

This is the second time Dowling has hit IR in his two years in the league. This time with a thigh injury. He's only played 176 total snaps in that time. When he's got on the field, he hasn't exactly looked like a competent corner either.

What a frustrating waste of a pick.
