On Nov. 3, New England Patriots' owner Robert Kraft will receive the inaugural NFL Players Association Georgetown Lombardi Award. The award is given to a sports leader whose life has been touched by cancer, encourages research and prevention through awareness and philanthropy, according to the press release. Bob Kraft lost his wife, Myra, to the disease last year.

Kraft will accept the award, named after Vince Lombardi, at Georgetown in Washington, D.C.
