Cardinals claimed QB Brian Hoyer on waivers.

Former Patriots backup quarterback was picked up by the Pittsburgh Steelers after both Ben Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich went down.
Part of me was hoping that Charlie Batch would struggle immensely and Hoyer would get his shot, but I'll take the Pittsburgh win over Baltimore any day.
The good news is that Hoyer will very likely get a shot in Arizona as their quarterback situation is absolutely miserable. They've alternating between John Skelton, Kevin Kolb and Ryan Lindley. They were also just decimated by the Seahawks 58-0. What's the disadvantage to putting Brian Hoyer in?
I was always impressed with Brady's ex-backup when he played in preseason, blowouts or meaningless regular season games. However, after a shaky preseason he was passed on the depth chart by Ryan Mallett and eventually cut from the team.
