Matt Light and Kevin Faulk Named Honorary Captains for the AFC Championship

Today, the New England Patriots released a statement that named Matt Light and Kevin Faulk the two honorary captains for the AFC Championship Game. Both Light and Faulk spent their careers in New England, eleven and thirteen respectively.

Matt Light spent his career defending Tom Brady's blind side at left tackle, went to three Pro Bowls, and started five Super Bowls with New England. Kevin Faulk has the New England Patriots' record for all-purpose yards, and he was also a part of the team for the last five Super Bowl appearances.

Matt Light's and Kevin Faulk's retirements meant that Tom Brady would be the only man left on the Patriots' roster who was around for all three Super Bowl wins. Let's hope these two can bring some Super Bowl charm to the Patriots and push them along to victory.
