Ray Lewis forgives Mrs. Welker... Sort of

It's Super Bowl week. Hooray! Which means we're going to be hearing a lot from Ray Lewis. Not so great, seeing as his team stopped the New England Patriots one short of NOLA.

And he has been asked about the comments made post AFC Championship by Wes Welker's better half Anna, and he has forgiven her. And also calls her a fool... Hmm.

“I've always been a firm believer of the Good Book," Lewis said Monday upon arrival in New Orleans, where his team is preparing to face the 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII. "The Good Book always confirms even a fool is counted wise until he opens he or she mouth... I truly forgive her. I don’t have no hard feelings against her at all, but I believe people make mistakes and say foolish things.” Source.

Well. I haven't read the whole of the Bible, so I'm going to have to trust Ray on that quote. I'm not even sure what it means. But I'm going to go with "She said something stupid, she apologized, I forgive her". I'm sure he's got more important things to focus on, like at what point of the National Anthem will he cry, and how long will they delay kick off so he can deliver his pregame Vince Lombardi/Any Given Sunday speech.

Speaking of Ray Lewis, he's been crying more, this time by Saturday Night Live's sketch. He was quoted as being "in tears laughing" at their send up of him. Check it out here, thanks to Bleacher Report.
