Dane Fletcher Inks a New Deal with the Patriots

Montana-native Dane Fletcher has officially signed a new contract with the Patriots and will be back next year after missing all of this past season due to a torn ACL. News first broke with Fletcher tweeting about his excitement to return to the gridiron in a New England Patriots uniform. Sources have revealed that it is only a one year deal, and it came together rather quickly. The restricted free agent expressed his desire to come back to New England, and the feelings were mutual for the Patriots front office.

Fletcher was an undrafted rookie with the Patriots, made the squad and saw his first real playing time in Week Six of that year. He was very key on special teams in 2011, so it was an easy deal to make for both sides. Now Dane will never have to miss out on hot tub night with Gronk.

This, of course, still leaves the Patriots top priority Free Agents on the board. Hopefully their deals will be coming soon, but do not expect it.
