James Harrison would play for the Patriots... wait, what?

“I should have another ring,” Harrison told Men’s Journal in 2011.  “We were the best team in football in 2004, but the Patriots, who we beat during the regular season, stole our signals and picked up 90 percent of our blitzes [in the AFC title game].  They got busted for it later, but hey, they’re Goodell’s boys, so he slapped ‘em $500,000 and burned the tapes.  Was he going to rescind their Super Bowls?  Man, hell no!”
Former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison was never one to shy away from the public. Voicing his opinion, usually negatively, through the media was and continues to be one of Harrison's favorite things to do. Naturally he felt the need to talk about his displeasure with the Patriots and the whole spygate scandal (above quote).

But that was the past, and in the present the four-time All-Pro is looking for a job. It seems as though Pittsburgh is looking to revamp the entire team and Harrison was the latest casualty of this transition. After being cut by the Steelers, he was asked about the possibility of joining the Patriots. Looks like the former anti-Patriot has had a change of heart:
“Of course it would be nice to play with Tom Brady,” Harrison told Josina Anderson of ESPN.  “I mean who wouldn’t want to?
Although Harrison is apparently past all of the hatred and disdain that he had for the Pats, but I'm sure Belichick, Brady, and the rest of the organization have not forgotten. This just shows that any player would want to be on the Patriots if they had the chance. It doesn't matter though because he's not going to be a Patriot. Period.
