NFL teams actually want Jamarcus Russell?!?!?!

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport has reported that several NFL teams are interested in the biggest bust in NFL history. According to Rapoport(@RapSheet), Jamarcus Russell is down to 265 pounds (started comeback at 315 pounds) which is the same weight he was at the combine in 2007.

Russell was 7-18 as the Oakland Raider's starting quarterback and threw for only 4,083 yards with 18 touchdowns and 23 interceptions and was out of the league by 2010. Rapoport said that Russell's ideal situation would be to sit behind an NFL veteran to learn the game of football again at the pro level, and if an NFL team won't sign him, he would try the CFL.

This would definitely be an interesting story this upcoming season if Jamarcus Russell is on an NFL squad. He apparently looks good throwing and is in good shape so lets see what happens. @joeloobs @patriotslife
