Rookie Expectations: Aaron Dobson

I am going to be completely honest, I had only heard of this guy a couple times before the Patriots drafted him. However, once WR Aaron Dobson was selected by the Pats with the 59th overall selection in the second round, I was pumped. This pick seemed to come out of nowhere, but needless to say we should all be excited.
With the excitement comes some expectations. It is obviously very difficult for rookie receivers to make the transition into the NFL and be effective. To join the Patriots and their extremely complex system just adds another level of difficulty for the young wide receiver. With that, we should all be prepared to watch Dobson's role continue to develop and become more prominent as the season goes on.

This guy is an animal though, just watch his highlight reel above. Could he add the extra dimension that the Patriots have been looking for? Judging from his highlights I would say that it's definitely within his potential. How quickly he is able to pick up the system (if he can at all) will be the main factor in his contribution to the team, because his physical ability is amazing. Standing at 6'3" and 210 lbs (according to NFL.com), he could finally be that big WR that the team has been desperate since trading Randy Moss.
