Aaron Hernandez being investigated for double murder last year

When it rains, it pours.

Such is the case when you murder someone and do very little to cover up the evidence.

Aaron Hernandez was charged with first degree murder yesterday, in addition to five other gun charges. The body of one of his associates, Odin Lloyd, was found not far from his home. According to the prosecutions presentation at the arraignment yesterday afternoon, they seem to have a compelling amount of circumstantial evidence that puts Hernandez as the planner and executioner of the crime.

So, if he's being charged with killing one man, what's to rule out him having killed others?

Around the time police started searching Hernandez's home a civil suit came to light of a man claiming that Hernandez shot him in the face back in February down in Florida. The case has recently been re-filed.

That's not the only crime that Hernandez is now being linked to, according to Fox25 he's now being investigated for a double murder that happened last year in the South End. That murder happened not too far from the Rumor Nightclub where Hernandez was apparently with Odin Lloyd before he was murdered weeks ago.

Per Mike Loyko of NePatriotsDraft, here is a quote from the report on the initial murde.r

CBSBoston
Gunshots were heard around 2:30 a.m., and when authorities arrived to the scene, they discovered a BMW near the corner of Herald Street and Shawmut Avenue.

Inside the BMW, officers found two men dead. A third man was taken to Tufts Medical Center and is expected to survive.

Police said two other people were in the BMW but fled the scene.

There hasn't been any word on what evidence the police have that would link Hernandez to this crime, but Ted Daniel has been a very reliable source throughout this entire saga. The CBSBoston report does say that a victim did survive.
