Aaron Hernandez's Lawyer Bashes Local Media

Michael Fee is in the middle

Aaron Hernandez’s lawyer Michael K. Fee spent last night bashing the local media for their reporting that the police had issued an arrest warrant for Hernandez and he says the only warrants that have been filed in court are search warrants.

Fee said in a statement:
“Over the past week, our client, Aaron Hernandez, has been the subject of a relentless flood of rumors, misinformation and false reports in the media,” - “These include the repeated publication of a supposedly confirmed report that an arrest warrant had been issued for Aaron, a report that was exposed as untrue.”

Fee also went on to thank the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office for its careful consideration of their public comments on the investigation. Fee said the reports of an arrest warrant came from an unofficial source.

So far officers have searched the home of Hernandez, the murder scene about a mile from his home and, just recently, a stream running near Hernandez’s home. The police are in the middle of collecting evidence before they jump to conclusions, but Hernandez didn’t help his case by destroying surveillance equipment and his phone.

So far the only sure thing in the case of 27 year-old Odin Lloyd is that it has been ruled a homicide and that he obviously has ties to Hernandez.
