Aaron Hernandez's friend turns on him + guy he allegedly shot in the face to testify

It must be awesome to be Aaron Hernandez right now.

After a body was found not far from his house, he's been the center of a murder investigation. Over the past couples of weeks, he's literally lost everything. He's been charged with murder, denied bail twice, and he's also been released by the Patriots while fans that once loved him either sell their jerseys on eBay or wait to head to Foxborough to trade them in. Oh, did I mention he's also not being allowed to marry his fiance?
NO LONGER SOLD!

Now it appears things got a little worse. Two of Hernandez's associates could come back to haunt him in this trial: Carlos Ortiz and Alexander Bradley.

Ortiz was arrested in Connecticut in connection to the crime and he alleges that he was with Hernandez the night Lloyd was killed.

Boston Herald:
“Ortiz did confirm that he was with Aaron Hernandez on the night in question,” state trooper Michael Bates wrote in an affidavit filed in Wrentham District Court. “Ortiz then went on to explain that Hernandez has another address that not many people know about. Ortiz referred to this location as an apartment-style location, commonly referred to as a ‘flop house.’ ”

Former Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone, now a private attorney not connected to the Hernandez case, said
Ortiz’s cooperation could be a dagger for prosecutors.

“If it is in fact shown that he was in the car leading up to and during the killing, then that type of witness would be huge,”
Leone said. “From a defense perspective, it’s obviously damaging. But the prosecution will need as much corroborating evidence as possible.”

In addition to the fact that having an eye witness is huge for the prosecution, they were able to turn up loads of evidence at the "flop house", according to the Herald. This includes the clothes Hernandez was seen wearing on security footage the night of the murder, as well as rental car agreements (Hernandez was seen driving a rental car he later returned with shell casing inside).

Ortiz isn't the only former associate that could bring some damning evidence to the table. Alexander Bradley is the man who has filed a civil suit about a separate incident in Miami where he alleged the NFL Star shot him in the face, costing him his right eye.

PFT:
According to the Associated Press, Bradley has been ordered to appear before a Massachusetts grand jury investigating the murder of Odin Lloyd...

The work of a grand jury typically occurs in secret, with a prosecutor calling witnesses and presenting evidence before asking the grand jury to return a “true bill” of charges. The one-sided nature of the proceeding has prompted the popular assertion that a prosecutor could obtain an indictment of a ham sandwich.

It's unclear what relation Bradley would have to this case but he may be able to corroborate the charges against Hernandez for the use of illegal firearms.

The shooting of Bradley and murder of Odin Lloyd are not the only acts of violence Hernandez is being linked to. Stories have begun to emerge of violent fits while he was a student athlete at Florida and he is also being investigated in a double murder that occurred in Boston last year.
