Mike Wallace shows the Patriots some love

The AFC East should probably have the nickname, "Patriots & co." For over a decade, the Pats have been in control of the division, with one of the other teams occasionally giving them a run. Even still, is there ever any doubt that the Pats will win the division? If there is, it is very little. Anyways, it seems as though there is always somebody on the Dolphins, Jets, or Bills that decides to take a verbal shot at the Patriots.

I guess new Miami Dolphins WR Mike Wallace, didn't get the memo. In a recent interview, Wallace was honest when he gave his opinion on Tom Brady and the Patriots:
"As long as they have No. 12 (Tom Brady) behind center, anything's possible," Wallace told USA Today on Sunday. "As long as they have Coach (Bill) Belichick up there, man, you never count those guys out.
"You never want to say, 'Oh, this happened and that happened,' because as soon as you say that, they come back at 12-4, 13-3," he went on to say. "You learn just to accept the Patriots for who they are. But at the same time, we're in the same division as them, and we want to win the division. If you're not playing to win, why are you playing the game?"
The former Steeler had some nice things to say about the Pats, even considering that some occasional trash talk has been exchanged between Pittsburgh and New England. Anyways, Wallace did this the right way; complemented and acknowledged what the Pats have done and continue to do, but then admitted that he and his team are still in it to win it. It will be fun to see what the young and improving Dolphins stack up against the Patriots.
