New details emerge in Hernandez's violent life

In a period of time when the Patriots would rather forget that they ever knew Aaron Hernandez, more details have emerged this morning that show an even more violent life then had been originally thought. These details state that Hernandez's mother had been stabbed by his stepfather after Hernandez had been drafted by the New England Patriots.

When his father died following a surgery for a Hernia when Hernandez was sixteen, his mother said that he became "very angry" at her and wanted to rebel. That attitude seemed to diminish when he was nineteen but the anger returned a year later when another event happened to none other then his mother...

According to Larry Brown Sports, Terri Hernandez (Aaron's mother) was stabbed by Jason Cummings, who she had married three years after the death of Hernandez's father. It was June 2010, and the young Aaron Hernandez was a month into his new contract with the Patriots. Bristol police arrived at the home to find Terri Hernandez on the ground, bleeding and trembling.
Cummings, who was an ex-con with a criminal record that included assault on a police officer and 19 failed drugs tests for marijuana and cocaine between September 2009 and June 2010, allegedly assaulted and slashed Terri during a verbal argument. Hernandez’s mother said the altercation became physical when Cummings shoved her to the ground and she scraped her knee.

“Terri stated that she got up and asked him, ‘What did I do? Why did you do that?’” a police report obtained by The Daily Beast read. “She stated she was surprised. She walked into the living room and sat on the chair crying because she was upset.”

Cummings also held a large knife (8 inches) to her throat, and when she was fearing for her life she fled to a neighbor's house. Cummings stabbed a stand up fan and the chair she was sitting in before striking her. Police found her with a three and a half (3 1/2) inch wound to her face and other wounds to her shoulder and wrists.

If Hernandez had learned to control himself after the death of his father, this event had to ruin any progress that he had made. Could this event and the anger that came with it had led to the shooting death of Odin Lloyd? Could his anger be because of the fact he lost his father, finally got over the death, and then immediately had to deal with the stabbing of his mother? With a hearing at 2PM EDT maybe some details may emerge.
