New NFL head cameras??

Technology is advancing faster than most of us can keep up with, but even still more and more advancements are coming along. How long until these creations find their way into the sports world? We already have plenty of technology in sports; instant replay, helmet microphones, devices that track how long you've walked/run. Well what about a camera that could record everything a football player sees, as he is seeing it? Without further ado, here is the Google Glass...

This video basically explains it all, and you have to see it to believe it; a small device that could potentially become part of an NFL helmet. The device would accept commands from the player wearing it, where he would have various options including video recording and communication with other teammates or team personnel.

Fans would be the biggest winners here, as we would be able to see what real NFL (or any other sport) action looks and feels like in first person. Something like this may seem ludicrous for now, but clearly the steps towards these innovations are being made. Keep an eye out for this, as we could be hearing a lot more about the Google Glass and other potential sports innovations.
