What we now know from the start of Training Camp

With the first two days of Training camp out of the way, the real fun begins. The pads goes on, the contact begins, and Bill Belichick still gives his daily run-arounds with the media. But that doesn't mean that everything is all fun and games now. There is a lot of good, don't get me wrong, but there is also a decent amount of bad.

1) Tebow better shape up... FAST

The first day of camp brought a new QB to the field, Tim Tebow. The crowd at opening day was pumped up and excited to see how the newest addition to the team would look, and lets just say that it wasn't what people were expecting. In 11 v. 11 drills, Tebow threw two interceptions, a fumble, and ran twice.. Not good at all, and not nearly enough to be able to make the roster opening day. This continued on day two, and prompted Albert Breer to tweet out:

Tom Curran of Comcast Sports Network New England wasnt far behind:

On a positive note for Tebow, he did catch several passes at the TE Position and looked amazing. He caught everything Mallet threw to him, so be sure to look for him at the TE position from time to time at camp. As for QB, well.... lets just hope that he gets better with time

2) Brady is back, in full force

Brady was un-stoppable. I mean un-stoppable in every way the first day of camp. He completed practically every pass, was hitting receivers down field, and beating the defense without leaving the pocket. It was clear as he high fived every teammate on the way out that he was pumped to be there, and he presented that energy to everyone there from the moment the horn sounded to start the camp.

3) This year is going to be fun.

Everyone is pumped to be out there, it is obvious. In the first day of camp, the entire 90 man roster was out in full force (minus Gronk who is on pup list). Smiles and laughs were shared, but at the same time it was all business. Before a crowd of 6,500 the teams showed everyone why they deserve to be there, even in the pouring rain they put on a show. I have full faith that this team is going to be a contender this year, even with all the stuff that went on in the off season.
