Boulder Bolden or Blount Force Trauma?
In all honesty I have no idea.
After last weeks game against the Eagles I believe people were quick to conclude that Blount will make this roster and honestly I don't know that he will either.
Lets review here, Ridley, Washington, and Vereen are locks on this roster but the last spot competition between Blount and Bolden is still up for grabs and is not over yet. We can't jump to conclusions after Blount's great game last week. Remember when Bolden ran over the Buffalo Bills defense for 137 yards on 16 carries last season? Do we remember much after Bolden performed well in that showing? not really.
This is the same situation for Blount, one amazing game won't do you good until you are consistent week by week. I give this position battle til week three of the preseason and from there I believe Belichick will know his plans.
Tonight's game will be a huge factor and stepping stone for both backs. This is the battle of the power backs and it is not over.
