Eagles' Cary Williams calls Patriots dirty and rips his teammates

What a wonderful start to the Philadelphia career of cornerback Cary Williams.

The former Baltimore Raven hasn't quite shed his purple and black traits yet, running his mouth to the media specfically to rip the Patriots. Don't worry he gets in some jabs at his own teammates too.

Last week the Eagles and Patriots held joint practices together. By all accounts the practices went well with very few incidents. It was a chance for two teams to compete against someone else for once and use it as a learning experience to prepare for the upcoming season.

Williams apparently has no patience for that.

He was not the lone member on his team to voice some displeasure about the practices. Fellow defensive back Brandon Boykin called the Patriots bullies. Funny considering that Cary Williams was the one who started a fight with Patriots rookie receiver Aaron Dobson. The lone incident last week.

BostonHerald:
"No question," Williams told the Philadelphia Inquirer. "They came in there talking. They had a lot of jokes, and (he-hes) and laughs, a lot of dirty plays that were going on. So there was a reason behind what I did, there was a reason behind the madness. At the end of the day, I still got to do things the way coach wants me to do it, and I understand that. But it definitely would have been a different situation if it was in Baltimore. It wouldn't have been a fun practice for the Patriots, I can tell you that."

Yeah, so the guy admits to starting a fight because he didn't like the Patriots jokes, all the while ripping his teammates for not being as tough as the Ravens? Great move.

Good job, guy who has barely played due to a hamstring issue and then gets himself sat down for starting a fight as soon as he gets on the field.

The Ravens are the most sensitive team in the NFL, and it seems like Williams is spreading the whining gospel to Philadelphia.
