With Teammates concerned, Brady steps on field and will play tonight

It is safe to say that the injury to Tom Brady scared the crap out of every single Patriot's fan young and old. What didn't help was the Boston Globe reporting that there was a tear of the ACL and MCL. Thankfully that wasn't true, and it was a mild sprain which did not have any effect on his ability to play, according to the Boston Herald.

Brady participated in the full practice, taking every snap and running every single drill. The only difference was that he was wearing the sleeve on his knee that was noticeable. This sleeve has been worn every single year since he tore his ACL, and quite frankly, isn't even noticeable if he didn't get hurt yesterday. Steven Ridley was also very concerned after the injury, as he made very evident...

“With Brady back out there for us, it’s a great time,” running back Stevan Ridley said. “It was a scary moment, but really with Tom, I know he’s a competitor and he’s going to do whatever to get out there. I’m just glad they took him out, checked him out and made sure he was good. That’s our leader, man. I’ll say that first and foremost – we ride with Tom Brady all the way," Ridley said. "Anytime you see somebody go down like that, everything stops in front of you, but for us, we just have to move on, hope for the best, and that’s what we did. We found out later that day in team meetings that he was OK and that’s all the news we needed to hear – that our quarterback was going to be with us and not have any major surgeries or anything. So we’re relieved."

With Brady going down with his knee, and Mallet getting hurt in the previous game, it provided a real life options for Belichick, as he had to sub in both mallet and Tebow in situations where in real games, would mean a lot, and see how they would react and perform... Well, atleast Brady isn't hurt right?

The Boston Globe's Ben Volin said he would be surprised if Brady got more then 3-5 reps during the game, as the Patriots will be hesitant to play him especially after this week. They also know that he ca throw already so they aren't really testing him in any way. But none the less, he will play, just don't expect a full game!
