Washington was brought in to take on kick/punt returning but its seems his wheels may be shot. Washington had a poor preseason with the only bright spot coming on a long return of 40+ yards against the Giants on Thursday night. Washington is now in his eighth year in the league.

Julian Edelman will likely resume punt returning duties while rookie Josh Boyce could take kickoff returns.
