No more Pat Patriot helmets?

The NFL taking away more fun!? Impossible right? Not exactly. The other day the NFL ruled against the Bucs using their throwback helmet for safety concerns. This not only applies to the Bucs, but for every NFL team, including the beautiful Pat Patriot helmets. The Bills wore a throwback in their last game, but their case is different. They don't have to swap helmets, just decals. Meaning that the helmet passes all tests set by the NFL in terms of head safety.

The NFL is quickly and more rapidly turning into the No Fun League. I'm all for player safety, but don't over do it. With no more spinning the ball after touchdowns and no more excessive team celebrations, the games are just becoming more and more plain and stale to watch.

Just this past week, a CFL team from British Columbia kept its fans entertained while waiting for a video review by dancing. While no action was taken by the CFL, (in all respects, this is Canada we're talking about) the NFL would have penalized the team for doing such a thing.

The NFL is dubbing down a bit too much now and fans are getting more and more tired of it.
