Patriots re-sign Marquice Cole and cut Josh Kline

The Patriots entered the morning with 10 offensive linemen and only four cornerbacks. That doesn't make a ton of sense. They've made some moves to correct that today.

This of course after releasing Marquice Cole just yesterday. This should have Patriots fans more at ease about the cornerback depth, I guess. Cole is not a guy you'd want covering anyone significant. His role with the Pats has mainly been on special teams, though he has improved in training camp and preseason.

If it becomes Cole vs a backup offensive linemen, the choice is obvious.

The Patriots ended up claiming two offensive linemen yesterday. They probably didn't predict landing both and released Cole to open up a roster spot. Kline will most likely end up back on the Patriots practice squad.
