Should the Patriots bring in old Wide Receivers?

Following a close, yet far from perfect game by the Patriots. It was obvious to many that the timing between Tom Brady and his receivers just simply didn't exist. While I'm not going to go in depth about this, Joe Loubier put out a good article detailing the pitfalls of the different offense.

So the question has been come to arise. Should the Patriots bring back a former receiver or past target to help catch passes and fill the void others have left in which Brady trusted so much in?

There are two quick options that really aren't too bad, Deion Branch and Jabar Gaffney. Both are currently free agents and both were on the Patriots at least once during a Super Bowl run. Terrell Owens could also be a good fit as Brady has worked out with him before and with his ability and experience. Getting on track with Brady shouldn't be too hard, at least one would think.

Now I know this article is about bringing back some old receivers, but Owens could provide a nice option at the very least being a decoy to open up Amendola, Edelman and Thompkins.

Brady has already built a decent trust with Amendola, Edelman seems to have learned greatly over the years and in all honesty, I really don't think the Patriots would have let Welker go if they didn't think Edelman was ready to take the next step. He has shown promise year after year and has earned his spot. Let's not forget Dobson too. He's still a big work in progress, but could catch on late once all the weapons are sorted out.

Nevertheless, it should be fun to watch this team grow together and become a more feared offense as the year goes along. The Patriots will get a chance to react and adapt to make changes and develop throughout the year, which could be key to a late season run.
