Pittsburgh Steelers waive Zoltan Mesko

Former Patriot punter and former Most Interesting Man in the NFL award winner, Zoltan Mesko, was involved in some punter controversy in training camp. Rookie Ryan Allen outperformed him, and allowed the team to save $1 million by letting him go. Many fans were a bit upset, but Allen was performed great in his rookie season and it hasn't been much of a topic since.

Mesko ended up signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he won't be coming back to Foxboro.

A shame for Mesko who performed great in his time in New England, both on and off the field. Hopefully he catches on with another team soon.
