Tommy Kelly's knee injury not expected to be serious

Tommy Kelly did not talk with reporters after today's game.

The defensive lineman is sure to get a lot of attention this week, after he went down holding his knee on a non-contact play. He later returned to the game but only for a few plays. With the team losing Vince Wilfork last Sunday to a season ending achilles injury, Kelly's health becomes of premium importance.

This is an encouraging sign, but not something we can hang our hat on quite yet. We'll have to see what the word is tomorrow, and of course watch how much Kelly practices this week. Non-contact injuries usually are the worst kind.
