Wilfork, not Brees, Patriots' concern?

While the Patriots come in as basically underdogs against the Saints, one thing that is not being underplayed is the Patriots inability to slow down the run this season. Ranking a horrid 23rd in the league (compared to
last year being in the top 10) and while the Saints ranked 26th in the running game, the fear for many is that the Saints will utilize this to their advantage and knock the Patriots off their game plan to slow down their complex offense.

While their running backs are nothing to fear, Pierre Thomas did play really well against the Bears and since the Patriots can't defend the run and the Saints statistically can't run the football, something has to give here. No Wilfork really hurts, but as with all things we have to live on without it.

So should the Patriots be concerned more about the Saints running game than Drew Brees himself? Certainly, because if the Saints get a running game going, it could spell trouble for New England.
