Zach Sudfeld claimed by the New York Jets
Well, isn't that funny.
The Patriots released struggling rookie tight end Zach Sudfeld yesterday, after the tight end did very little except fumble, cause interceptions, and drop onside kicks.
Still, the young player showed plenty of potential in training camp and the Patriots were likely hoping that he would land on their practice squad. Not if the New York Jets have anything to say about it.
The Patriots and Jets play October 20th in New York.
