Brandon Bolden's role will likely be reduced vs Carolina

Brandon Bolden has been a surprise this season with 38 attempts for 205 yards and 2 touchdowns filling in for Shane Vereen.

The second year undrafted back out of the University of Mississipi has been a factor in the pass, run and protection game.

Bolden's carries will be limited though with the return of Shane Vereen. According to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe Running Backs Coach Ivan Fears stated, "Vereen's legs are fresh. Brandon has been playing hurt and could use some relief."

This could hurt the Patriots as Bolden is their best blocker when Brady drops back in the pocket. With a vicious Carolina line and an inconsistent Patriots offensive line it will be up to mostly Ridley, Vereen and Blount to anchor the pass protection for Brady.

Look for Bouldering Bolden to see reduced snaps this round and get ready for Denver.
