Injury Update: Carolina DT Charles Johnson

Looking back at the play it shows Johnson being clipped by Patriots RT Marcus Cannon (who will hear from the league office unfortunately).
Johnson was down on his knees pounding his fists into the ground screaming in pain and was carted off from the sideline.
Johnson is a huge investment for the Panthers with a 6 year 77 million dollar contract.
The Georgia Product and seventh year man has been an anchor on the Carolina defensive line with 8.5 sacks on the season. With Johnson out and very doubtful to return with a possible ACL/MCL tear this opens up the Patriots running game and gives Brady more time. This is a huge blow for Carolina if he is done.
UPDATE
Charles Johnson is on the sideline and is expected to return according to ESPN's Jon Gruden.
