Road to MetLife Stadium: Can’t Miss Pre-Game Fan Experiences at MetLife Stadium

I recently had the chance to head down to MetLife Stadium for the Giants-Packers game to take in the sights of this year's Super Bowl stadium.

Since the Patriots are nearly always in contention to be in the big game, I thought it'd be appopriate to examine the fan experience as the Pats embark on the Road to MetLife Stadium.

Most of the activity takes place at the central gate, called MetLife Central.

What is MetLife Central?

MetLife Central is the gateway for fun and the best way to start off your day at MetLife Stadium. Ultimately, this footprint exists to help enhance the game day experience for all fans.

· If you can’t make it to the game you can visit metlifecentral.com for a chance to win great Coaches Club tickets and sideline passes.
· Visit Twitter and Facebook for more great info @MetLifeCentral

These are some of the fan experiences available at MetLife Central that I was able to check out.

MetLife Plaza- At the entrance of the MetLife Central Gate to the stadium is a giant statue of a laced up Snoopy, for all those Charlie Brown fans.

Turf Field- Maybe the coolest part of the MetLife gate. Fans are given the opportunity to put their football skills to the test, either trying to throw a pinpoint pass at a target or kick a chip shot field goal. For all of us that have cursed Stephen Gostowski from our couches, you can earn a whole new respect for kickers here.

Also here's a vine I took of some throwing and kicking fails

MetLife Central Stage- Get a chance to interact with the MLC emcees, get pictures and autographs with famous team alumni, and participate in fun events like relay races, Simon says competitions and the world famous MLC Dance Party.

I had the chance to meet former Giants running back Rodney Hampton. Hampton won a Super Bowl with Bill Belichick in his rookie year, 1990. Here's the two of us.

Green Screen- Get the chance to super impose yourself in the action with green screen pictures and videos. You have the choice of being on the field, yelling at the refs or being at a press conference.

Kinect– Test your skills on the MetLife Wide Receiver Challenge, our motion based interactive football game.

Countdown Kiosks- Sign up for a MLC Countdown card and swipe every fifteen minutes for the chance to win over 300 prizes from Snoopy plush to Big Time Prizes such as sideline passes, autographed merchandise and alumni dinners.

Benefits Desk– Stop by the benefits desk to claim your prizes, check out the out-of-town NFL scoreboard and browse our glass trophy case of team memorabilia.

All in all, it's an impressive package that MetLife Stadium has to offer before you even head into the game. It's a great space that will truly make for an exciting Super Bowl. Let's hope the Pats' Road to MetLife Stadium journey is successful.
