Who should New England target in free agency?

The Patriots have finally reached their bye week, at a very much needed time. And while the Patriots are 7-2, New England needs to focus on its future. After all, the Patriots could very well be in some trouble right now. With shaky targets for Tom Brady and an injury list that just keeps growing, the upcoming free agency can help, but who should they try and grab?

Certainly the Patriots want players who can stretch the field and stay healthy, some of the possible upcoming free agents provide this. Speed threats such as Ted Ginn Jr, Jeremy Maclin, Jacoby Ford, and Devin Hester will be free-agents. The Patriots can also target tall players who can stretch the field such as a Kenny Britt. The top two upcoming free agents are Eric Decker, and Anquan Boldin, but don't expect Decker to go anywhere.

On the defense, the Patriots can certainly bolster their defensive line with some pro bowl players possibly hitting the market, players like Michael Johnson, Justin Tuck, and Jared Allen. In the passing defense category, the Patriots MUST re-sign Aqib Talib. Aside from that, Brandon Browner, Seattle's premier corner is a restricted free agent at the end of this season and has played in the CFL (where contracts are cheap) and has played for cheap in Seattle. Depending on his asking price, the Patriots should really consider.

So should the Patriots consider obtaining all these players? Please leave a comment or a reply on Twitter for your response!
