Win a Tom Brady t-shirt, Vote for the Road to MetLife Stadium Patriots MVP so far

As the Patriots begin their quest to MetLife Stadium for the Super Bowl, we've decided to chronicle that journey by highlighting the heroes from each game.

The Pats have had an up and down season so far. Thankfully, they ended on a high note with Tom Brady finally looking like Tom Brady against Pittsburgh. With the bye week last week, we thought now would be a good time to not only have you chose the mid-season MVP, but also give away something right away! Usually we have this poll every week, with each voting earning an entry towards the grand prize of a Pats jersey in the end.

This week, you win right away. With the prize being an amazing Tom Brady name and number tee.

We've narrowed it down to only the players who have won your votes for MVP so far this season. Aqib Talib and Tom Brady are both the only players with multiple MVPs so far. But, which one is more deserving?

Luckily for us, the burden of that decision falls to you.

Here's how it works.

Vote in the poll below for who you think deserves to win MVP for that week's game. Each vote earns you 1 entry into this raffle. You can earn additional entries by liking us on facebook, following us on twitter, and tweeting about the contest. Please see below for easy access to doing all of that!

So, now the question remains. Who was is the MVP of the Patriots so far?

It has to come down to either Tom Brady or Aqib Talib, and both have strikes against them.

If we were having this vote four weeks ago, Aqib Talib would win in a landslide, and maybe he still will. Talib has been not only the team's most consistent player, but also maybe their best. He's routinely shut down top threats like Jimmy Graham, Vincent Jackson and Julio Jones, while also making clutch tips or interceptions to seal games. The only knock on him is that he was injured in the Saints game in Week 6 and has been out ever since. The team has sorely missed him in two out of the three games he's missed though, as they gave up season highs in points against the Jets and then the Steelers.

Quarterback Tom Brady is the hottest player on the roster though, coming off a season best performance against the Steelers. Brady hasn't looked like himself until that point though: missing open receivers, throwing interceptions, fumbling, etc. Hopefully the Steelers game is a sign of things to come. However, he's still the quarterback and has still led his fair share of game clinching drives this year.

So, who do you pick?

Week 3: Kenbrell Thompkins
