Alfonzo Dennard ruled out vs Texans

Dennard hasn't missed much practice since his knee injury a couple weeks ago which kept him out of the Carolina game.

He surprisingly played last week against the Broncos after reports indicated he could be out for awhile. This week, he'll get some rest as he missed practice towards the end of the week and has now been ruled out by the team.

Alfonzo Dennard’s knee injury is still an issue.

The New England Patriots cornerback did not travel to Houston for Sunday’s game against the Texans due to the injury and has been downgraded to out.

Dennard's role against the Broncos was extremely limited, so it's hard to say this is a surprise. This could bite the Patriots, as the Texans have a surprisingly decent passing game, currently 11th in the league. Still, the need will need to worry more about that top ranked defense than Case Keenum and the Houston offense.
