Deion Branch trying out for the Indianapolis Colts
If you just assumed Deion Branch was retired, you are sorely mistaken.
Patriots fans had been clamoring for the team to re-sign Branch early this season with the offense in a severe funk. That never happened though, as Branch did not look like he had much left in the tank in his stint with the team last year.
The Colts are having their own receiver problems though, and are apparently kicking the tires on the New England fan favorite.

The Indianapolis Colts worked out former New England Patriots wide receiver Deion Branch, according to a league source.
Wilson is an extremely reliable source, so it's almost safe to assume this happened.
Since Indy lost Reggie Wayne, they've really struggled to replace his production. I'm not sure why they think Branch would solve those problems, but hey, I also didn't trade my first rounder for Trent Richardson.. I kid!! I kidd!
The Colts were once a hated rival, but that was when Peyton Manning was there. If this were a headline a couple years ago, it'd be a huge deal. Now, not so much.
