Dobson, Thompkins, Solder questionable for Dolphins game

Prior to returning to practice on Friday, Pats rookie wide-out Aaron Dobson had missed the team's last two games with an injured foot, and was spotted in a walking boot last week. He is now officially listed as questionable for Sunday's division match-up with Miami.

Prior to getting hurt, Dobson was beginning to look like the breakout talent many had projected him to be when drafted. On the year, the rookie wideout has reeled in 35 catches for 492 yards and 4 touchdowns,  encouraging production from the 2nd round pick out of Marshall.

Also listed as questionable is fellow rookie receiver Kenbrell Thompkins, who has had a roller-coaster season that peaked with a game-winning grab for the ages vs. the Saints in week six, and bottomed out when he was a healthy scratch in the team's stomping of the Steelers at home just two games later. Thompkins missed last week's game after sustaining a hip injury when he landed awkwardly early in the game at Houston.

With Rob Gronkowski sidelined for the remainder of the year, the Pats offense is going to need both rookies to step up their play in a major way going forward. Having both of them on the field and healthy Sunday would certainly provide a boost for a game that suddenly has added signifigance, as New England now finds themselves in the driver's seat atop the AFC.
